We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will ensure that inventory is accurately managed and that all products are handled with care. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
- Support other warehouse operations as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
