Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory according to customer orders, using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Participate in cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Engage in tasks that require repetitive lifting and movement of merchandise.
- Follow established procedures for safe lifting and material handling to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the entire shift.
- Capability for lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the critical importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow instructions and company guidelines.
