Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming materials accurately.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Load and unload trucks, maintaining proper load balance and security.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing materials promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and PPE.
- Assist in other warehouse operations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Properly use all required PPE to ensure personal and co-worker safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
