Join our fast-paced warehouse in Omaha, Nebraska, as an Order Picker! We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals to join our team and help us efficiently fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves according to pick lists. Your speed and accuracy are crucial to our operations and customer satisfaction. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or scan orders to identify items and quantities needed.
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Ensure the accuracy of picked items and quantities before moving them to the next stage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics operations.
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of items as required, using safe Lifting techniques.
- Contribute to team goals and foster a positive work environment.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety rules and the importance of PPE.
- Team player mentality.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
