Your primary focus will be on ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods, both inbound and outbound. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking, packing, and shipping.
- Participate in regular safety training and team meetings.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and orderly.
- Follow all logistics guidelines and directives.
- Demonstrate proficiency in lifting and moving heavy objects safely.
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator. Valid forklift certification. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Physical stamina for lifting and prolonged standing. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests. Knowledge of logistics principles is a plus.
