R-146076### **Job Description**## OverviewIn this role you will join our global network of communication and marketing experts as part of our Global External Communications centre of expertise (COE), reporting to the Senior Manager for External Communications (UK & Europe), based in the UK.This role will focus on crafting clear, compelling and engaging content that strengthens our editorial programme and supports strategic communications objectives.## Your role* Develop high-quality written content for external communications, including editorial and features; longer form white papers and reports; executive speeches and briefings; media commentary and ad hoc articles that contribute to AtkinsRéalis’ earned media programme.* Create and update external messaging to summarise AtkinsRéalis positioning on key themes and market priorities for external communications.* Collaborate with communications colleagues and subject matter experts to identify compelling angles and develop relevant, insightful and accurate copy that aligns with wider campaigns and company messaging.* Monitor industry trends to maintain relevance and contribute new ideas and approaches for use in external communications.## About you* Proven copywriting experience in journalism orB2B PR / corporate communications (agency or in-house)
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.* Strong editorial judgment and ability to craft narratives for media and external audiences.* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to tone and clarity.* Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.* Familiarity with media relations and understanding of news cycles.* Ability to adapt complex technical information into narratives for media engagement and thought leadership (knowledge of engineering, infrastructure, or professional services is desirable but not essential).## Reward & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
