Pipe Layer

CATA Management Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Pipe Layer to join our Earthworks and Civil team

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay, install, and maintain pipe for storm, sewer, and water systems.
• Ensure proper alignment, grade, and depth of pipes according to project specifications.
• Excavate trenches and backfill as required for pipe installation.
• Assist with the setup and operation of trenching and pipe-laying equipment.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep detailed records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pipe layer in civil construction or related field.
• Strong knowledge of pipe installation, trenching, and grading.
• Experience with various types of pipes, including PVC, HDPE, and ductile iron.
• Ability to operate related equipment such as excavators, and loaders.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to pipe laying and trenching.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.
