About
We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our Omaha, Nebraska warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your speed and accuracy are crucial to our **logistics** operations and overall customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of goods. Maintaining a **safety**-first approach is critical, including the proper use of **PPE** and adherence to all warehouse **safety** protocols. This position involves significant **lifting**, bending, and walking throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Stage orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Understand and support warehouse **logistics** and workflow.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment safely.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to **lift** up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with **safety** procedures and the use of **PPE**.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics**.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good stamina and physical fitness.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
