We are seeking motivated individuals to play a crucial role in our fast-paced warehouse and support our expanding logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This involves using RF scanners to locate items, ensuring correct quantities are picked, and preparing them for the packing station. Exceptional attention to detail is vital to minimize order errors and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the warehouse. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a top priority; therefore, adherence to all company safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) is mandatory. This role requires physical stamina and involves regular Lifting of items up to 40 pounds, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order pick lists.
- Stage picked items at the designated packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Wear required PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
- Report any damaged products or equipment issues to a supervisor.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including regular Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE .
