In this role, you will be crucial to our logistics operations by accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that our customers receive the correct products, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include using a scanner to locate items, carefully picking products, inspecting them for quality, and packing them securely into appropriate shipping containers. We maintain a strong focus on safety, requiring all employees to adhere to established protocols and use necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory using RF scanners and order pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack products efficiently and securely into designated shipping containers.
- Ensure correct labels are applied to all packages.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning technology.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and PPE usage.
