You will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and packing them securely for shipment. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all employees to follow safety guidelines rigorously. This role requires physical activity, including walking, bending, and lifting, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order fulfillment sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Use RF scanning devices to track inventory and order progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily fulfillment targets and deadlines.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment when necessary.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Basic computer skills for using scanning devices.
