Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after shifts.
- Maintain a safe operating record and follow all safety procedures.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Transport materials to and from production areas or storage locations.
- Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding warehouse operations and safety.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery and understanding of logistics flow.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
