About
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our fast-paced warehouse operations in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be instrumental in accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall flow of our logistics chain. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure that orders are processed quickly and correctly, contributing to the smooth functioning of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order slips using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Package selected items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the mandatory use of required PPE.
- Perform quality checks on packed orders before they are dispatched.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned, including receiving and stocking.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking and packing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product codes.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
