Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in St. Louis, Missouri! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a key role in our **Logistics** chain, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. Your primary duties will involve picking products from inventory using order lists or scanners and then carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. This position demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing and walking. A strong commitment to **Safety** is essential, including the mandatory use of **PPE** such as safety vests and steel-toed boots. Your dedication to speed and accuracy will directly impact our customer's experience and the overall productivity of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order requirements.
- Verify picked items for correctness of product and quantity.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Select appropriate packaging materials for shipments.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all **Safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Meet established picking and packing performance standards.
- Report any damaged inventory or equipment issues.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
