We are seeking an efficient Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas. This role is crucial for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment, directly impacting customer satisfaction and our overall logistics success. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking them accurately, packing them securely, and preparing them for dispatch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good manual dexterity, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina, including the ability to perform tasks involving lifting, is required. We maintain a strong focus on safety and provide all necessary PPE, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the correct use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the fulfillment and logistics operations.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of the role.
