Join our dynamic logistics team as a Distribution Center Associate in Baltimore, Maryland! This role is essential for the efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. We are looking for motivated, reliable individuals who are committed to safety and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists, ensuring accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate materials.
- Prepare outgoing shipments with correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Strictly follow all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock checks.
- Support the overall logistics flow and efficiency of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform tasks requiring physical dexterity for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and a strong commitment to following them.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and comply with all safety regulations.
