Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Distribution Center Associate for our Washington, D.C. facility. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our **Logistics** and supply chain management. You will be involved in a range of activities including receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to **Safety** are paramount. You will be required to operate various warehouse equipment and adhere strictly to all **Safety** protocols, including the use of required **PPE**. This position demands physical stamina, as it involves frequent **Lifting**, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology is advantageous. We are looking for dedicated, team-oriented individuals who are detail-conscious and driven to meet performance targets. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials accurately.
  • Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies upon arrival.
  • Stock items in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring organization and accessibility.
  • Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy and speed.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Strictly follow all **Safety** procedures and utilize all necessary **PPE**.
  • Support the efficient flow of goods within the **Logistics** network.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform frequent **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse **Safety** standards and **PPE**.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Willingness to operate warehouse machinery.
