Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory in designated locations.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training is provided.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE correctly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
