AZ Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles to transport freight, materials, or equipment to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Operate heavy equipment or forklifts when required for loading or unloading tasks.

Experience

• 1 year old AZ license required. Mandatory
• Proven experience in commercial driving or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus.
• Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
