We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our vibrant logistics hub in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are paramount as you support our daily operations, including loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, and assisting with stock placement. Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from various levels.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the safe and organized storage of materials.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator with valid certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
