Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are monitored, and assisting with the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our clients receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be working closely with other warehouse staff, management, and potentially external auditors to conduct cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. You will be expected to operate standard office equipment and potentially utilize inventory management software. Adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) is mandatory to ensure a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking new inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels and report low stock to management.
  • Process inventory adjustments and transfers.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Comply with all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
  • Utilize handheld scanners and inventory management software.
  • Participate in physical inventories as required.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehousing preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE .
