Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to expertly maneuver forklifts and other material handling equipment within our warehouse. This role is essential for the efficient movement of goods, supporting our complex logistics network. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, stocking and retrieving inventory, and ensuring the safe transit of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a keen understanding of warehouse safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Transport goods between different areas of the warehouse, such as receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage and maintain inventory integrity.
- Follow all company safety regulations and protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid forklift operator certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliability and a proactive approach to safety.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
