About
We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our dedicated team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately picking items for customer orders and then preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are essential to ensuring our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will utilize scanning technology and follow picking instructions to locate products within the warehouse. After picking, you will carefully pack the items, ensuring they are secure for transit. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and performing tasks that involve bending, reaching, and lifting. We maintain a strong commitment to safety, and you will be expected to follow all safety protocols rigorously, including the mandatory use of PPE. This position is a crucial link in our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We are seeking organized and motivated individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and contribute to our team's success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order tickets and scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
- Demonstrate safe practices for Lifting and moving goods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Must wear designated PPE as required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
