Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of incoming inventory. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and properly documenting all received items. Your attention to detail will directly impact our inventory management systems and overall operational efficiency. We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict Safety protocols. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced Logistics setting. You will be provided with all necessary PPE , including safety vests and gloves. Expect to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting throughout your shift.
Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming shipments from various carriers accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify the quantity and quality of goods received against corresponding purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming products for any damages, discrepancies, or defects.
  • Document all receiving activities, including shortages, damages, and overages, in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Tag and label received items for proper put-away.
  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies with supervisors and relevant departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Assist with inventory counts and audits as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE .
  • Understanding of basic Logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety .
