This position is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving incoming stock, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts – training available).
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to optimize workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and using PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality.
