We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team in vibrant Miami, Florida! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with stock management to ensure the efficiency of our logistics operations. Your keen eye for detail and organizational skills are crucial for preventing stock discrepancies and optimizing warehouse processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and that our products are available when needed. A commitment to accuracy and adherence to safety protocols are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track the movement of inventory within the facility.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Assist with the organization and storage of inventory to maximize space utilization.
- Identify and report any damaged or expired stock.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory data.
- Assist with put-away and replenishment tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to move around the warehouse, perform light lifting (up to 30 lbs), and stand for periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
