We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your primary duties will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and in a timely manner. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively to move materials. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be ensuring inventory accuracy and preparing shipments for our valued customers. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where adherence to established procedures is essential for maintaining high standards of productivity and quality. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our organization. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Your role is vital in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics network. We emphasize the importance of **PPE** and **Safety** in all aspects of your work. Expect to be involved in tasks that require **Lifting** up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all **Safety** protocols and company policies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Basic understanding of **Logistics** and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace **Safety** and adherence to **PPE** guidelines.
