About
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Austin, Texas. The Order Picker will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and correct shipments to our clients. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to all safety protocols. Proper handling of products and maintaining a clean work area are essential. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all team members are expected to follow strict guidelines regarding equipment operation and general warehouse conduct. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
- Meet or exceed performance targets for picking speed and accuracy.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
