This role is crucial for ensuring that all shipments are accurately documented, packaged, and dispatched on time, contributing to the efficiency of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels and documentation.
- Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and inventory records.
- Package items appropriately to ensure safe transit.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or administrative support is a plus.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to perform occasional light Lifting.
