Job Summary:
Our Sacramento, California facility is looking for certified and experienced Forklift Operators to join our dedicated logistics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and products throughout our warehouse. Your expertise will ensure that inventory is accurately managed, loaded, and unloaded, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system information.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times in designated areas.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some Lifting of smaller items.
  • Follow traffic rules within the warehouse to prevent accidents.

Requirements:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and Logistics best practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read and understand load charts and equipment manuals.
