Job Summary:
We are hiring a motivated Material Handler to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations in Madison, Wisconsin. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials throughout the facility. This includes receiving goods, stocking them appropriately, and ensuring they are readily available for distribution. Your dedication to Safety and efficiency will directly impact our logistics flow. We are seeking individuals who are team players, detail-oriented, and possess the physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including significant Lifting. This position offers a stable work environment and opportunities for professional development within the logistics sector. You will be provided with all necessary PPE and training.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas using pallet jacks, carts, or other equipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic and accessible manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for shipment, including staging and labeling.
  • Conduct regular checks on material conditions and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in cycle counting and physical inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform consistent Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
  • Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and basic warehouse equipment.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Team-oriented with good communication abilities.
  • Willingness to wear all required PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
