This role combines hands-on financial operations , controlling responsibilities , and insight-driven reporting for our warehouse and It is ideal for someone who enjoys both transactional accuracy and higher-level financial analysis.

Your Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of facility reporting at GP and EBIT level
Lead month-end closing activities and financial performance & risk reporting
Transform operational activities into accurate financial figures
Provide full customer and profit transparency to Finance Business Partners and Site Management
Maintain trend lines for revenues, margins, direct costs, and productivity
Translate business results into clear, forward-looking insights
Financial Operations Management
Ensure correct invoicing, job costing, and revenue/cost postings in SAP
Book supplier invoices, create accruals, and release related purchase orders
Perform daily processing and validation of incoming invoices
Create and maintain vendor records in financial systems
Validate the accuracy of direct cost invoices and operational expenses
Compliance, Audit & Process Improvement
Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to best practices
Maintain and improve finance processes, ensuring lean and clean workflows
Identify improvement opportunities jointly with site and finance colleagues
Support forecasting and budgeting between sites and central functions
Operational Collaboration
Work closely with Warehouse Operations Managers, Site Managers, and General Managers
Provide weekly volume and performance updates
Ensure financial systems support efficient decision-making
Contribute to a high-performing, customer-centric site culture
What You Bring
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
2+ years of experience in financial reporting, controlling, or financial operations
Strong data mining and analysis capabilities
Advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge of SAP/FACT or S4 HANA (BW/BI is a plus)
Experience in Contract Logistics / Warehouse operations (required)
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills in English and German
Proactive, analytical, and able to challenge discrepancies in KPIs and trend lines
A team player with a flexible, hands-on mindset
