About
The role:
Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Art and Design lessons Marking students work and providing feedback effectively Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages participation and promotes overall well-being. Prepare students for language examinations Monitor individual student progress, using innovative feedback methods for personalised independent growth Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative lesson materials and exchange effective teaching strategies Daily rate between £183.28 - £279.69 through Umbrella contract (PAYE contract also available)
The ideal candidate will be:
A passionate teacher who inspires and motivates pupils, parents and colleagues A teacher who can create a safe, happy, challenging, stimulating and effective learning environment. A teacher with the drive and ability to secure excellent rates of progress and attainment for all children no matter their starting point A teacher with commitment to their own professional development A teacher with strong interpersonal and organisational skills A teacher who is able to develop strong partnerships with parents and the community
Qualifications: An Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one through anzuk Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK recognised teaching qualification. An up-to-date CV outlining employment covering the last 10 years Proven experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary level. Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for Art and Design Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
