2nd Shift Structural Steel Machine Operator

COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are a leading company in the steel fabrication industry with over 80 years of experience. Our work is widely diverse, ranging from industrial, to job shop to construction. We also offer full-service, ranging from steel fabrication, to metal processing, to machining.

Schedule: 3:30pm-2:00am Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities

• Saw stock material down to size on horizontal and vertical saws.
• Drill beams, tubes, angle, and channel on drill line.
• Operate robotic 360 degree plasma cutting and etching machine.
• Burn plate from CNC plasma.
• Cut angle iron on a CNC angle line.
• Shear plate to size from 20 ta. to 5/8 plate (20ft and 12ft sheer)
• Operate CNC Press Brake and form various types of material. (20ft and 12ft brake)

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and in steel processing equipment, such as, saw, grinders, CNC equipment, and cranes.
• Good attendance
• Good work ethic - must be self-motivated and have a good attitude
• Willingness to do a variety of tasks
• Attention to detail and desire to produce quality product
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle materials.
• Frequently required to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

• The position operates in a manufacturing or warehouse setting with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• May involve exposure to dust, dirt, and noise from machinery.
