About Us: VKB Homes is the top home remodeling company in the Fox Valley Region, and we are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to add to our growing team We are a family-oriented company and a great place to work  The VKB in our name actually stands for the owners 3 boys; Vance, Keaton, and Blake.  We take pride in our workmanship and in our company.  This means we also value our employees and treat them like family. Description of position:
  • A self-starter position that requires both a jobsite ownership mindset and ability to lead others.
  • Working multiple job sites to help get projects to completion.
  • Managing the workflow on multiple projects.
  • Finish carpentry work, tile, trim, and cabinet installation in mostly residential and some small commercial settings.  
  • VKB Team members need to be able to work well with each other and be able to keep focused and stay on task working alone. 
  • Time management skills are needed to ensure jobs get done promptly, within allotted timeframes.  
  • Attention to job safety, cleanliness of job sites, and customer relations are highly valued.

Requirements:
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Must have remodeling experience. 
  • Must have familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to use technology to run a jobsite.
  • Must be polite and presentable to customers.
  • Must be trustworthy and kind.
  • Must be a problem solver.
  • Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be detail orientated and take pride in their craftsmanship. 

Benefits:
  • $30-40 /hourly (dependent on experience).
