Position Summary
Second shift position. The objective of the Maintenance Technician is to support plant production machinery and facility maintenance activities, as required.

Essential Functions

1. Assists the Engineering and/or Maintenance Manager in determining proper installation and/or repair procedures for electrical and/or electronic equipment.

2. Undertaking and completion of preventive maintenance activities to plant equipment utilizing the plant computerized maintenance management system.

3. Troubleshooting equipment problems or failures, determining the appropriate actions for repair, specifying parts and materials needed for repair, and ordering parts as required.

4. Developing solid, professional working relationships with all plant employees, and responding to requests for maintenance in a timely manner so as to reduce plant equipment downtime.

5. Must have the ability to complete repairs to equipment with minimal supervision.

6. Perform all planned and unplanned facility maintenance activities

7. Manage and update maintenance documents

8. Analysis, purchase, installation and coordination for new plant/processes consumables and spare parts.

9. Setup of production work cells, troubleshoot and repair of technical automated systems, installation of new equipment and upgrades of existing equipment. Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots is a plus but not required as we have a great training program in place. Clean shop with climate-controlled environment, good benefits and pay.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
