Recreation Director Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's Degree or completion of certification (or willingness to obtain with our support)
• Experience in long-term care, preferably in a supervisory role
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Develop care plans, monitor systems, and meet all documentation requirements
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, and Residents' Rights
• Supervise Recreation Department personnel
• Create, plan, and implement monthly calendars and newsletters
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department
• Develop person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and sensory activities
• Plan and coordinate facility events for residents and staff
• Strong computer skills and time management
