Summary
Quick Tie Products, Inc. is a rapidly growing, Jacksonville, FL based company with departments including engineering & design (including research & development) software & IT, sales & marketing, administration & finance, and manufacturing & warehousing.
Our bid coordinator will work closely with the Multifamily sales team to generate leads and additional multi-family sales. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing person that enjoys engaging with potential customers and other multi-family project players over the phone. He or she will also be meticulously organized to keep up with a multi-million-dollar portfolio of sales leads and project documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process oversite: Orchestrating the entire bid lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to final submission and follow-up.
- Research to generate a bidder lead list pertaining to large multi-family projects and contact potential sales leads (e.g., contacting architects to discover who will be bidding on a particular project)
- Contact and submit bids for upcoming projects to all interested parties
- Answer simple customer service questions via phone or email regarding product or installation from interested bidders/customers
- Analyze and validate Invitations to Bid requests, by downloading and quickly reviewing and appropriately categorizing set projects
- Document Control – monitor and maintain up to date document versions and perform QA check on outgoing bid Submissions.
- Report and document activities using standard company CRM processes
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Coordination with internal department Estimating, engineering production etc.
- Build and foster relationships with customers, both new and existing
- Follow-up on sales leads and quotes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) (mandatory)
- Previous inside sales and construction industry experience is (strongly preferred)
- College degree (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday – Thursday; 7:30am to noon on Fridays. Overtime and weekends as required.
Compensation: ~$65,000 year
