We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in food preparation and handling will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation for catering events or large orders.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, feedback, and improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the food industry, preferably as a Line Cook or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and catering services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills and recipes.
• Certification in food safety or culinary arts is advantageous but not required.
