Dining Services Manager – The Lodge Senior Living
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM (must be flexible to cover staff shortages; latest end time 7:00 PM)
Starting Wage: $21.00/hour

The preferred candidate will start by/on Sept 1st for training with the current DSM.

The Lodge Senior Living is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dining Services Manager to lead our kitchen and dining team with a focus on quality, service, and cleanliness. This hands-on leadership role blends cooking, managing, and overseeing operations to ensure our residents receive exceptional dining experiences every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise dining staff, kitchen operations, and food production to maintain high standards of quality and service
• Cook during 4 of your 5 scheduled shifts; 1 shift per week is dedicated to office and administrative duties
• Order all food and kitchen supplies while maintaining budget and inventory control
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas meet or exceed all cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock of dishes, flatware, paper goods, condiments, and supplies at all serving stations
• Maintain records including resident diet preferences, daily meal counts, cleaning checklists, and quality control logs
• Take orders and serve meals to residents and guests when needed
• Fill in or cover shifts during staff shortages to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Prior kitchen management or lead cook experience
• Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
• Excellent budget and inventory management ability
• A high level of organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail
• A heart for seniors and a passion for quality food service
