Overview
As a Deployment Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing complex network deployments that support high availability and performance across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure, monitor systems, and drive continuous improvement. Your role will help shape the technical direction of network operations while ensuring scalable and secure delivery. You will be a key contributor to innovation and operational excellence in a dynamic, enterprise environment.

What You'll Do
- Plan, design, and execute deployment of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems across multiple sites
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve network design, optimize performance, and reduce latency
- Automate deployment and monitor tasks using scripting and configuration management tools
- Analyze current network deployments and propose improvements for scalability, security, and efficiency
- Influence technical direction by identifying trends and recommending innovative solutions and architectures
Skills You'll Need
- Proficiency in Linux and Unix systems commonly used in server environments
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Prometheus for performance tracking and incident response
- Understanding of networking protocols including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN)
- Familiarity with enterprise network environments, preferably within financial institutions
- Certified technical engineer (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate)
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Experience with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet or equivalent
- Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages like YAML, JSON, or Python
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Exposure to Infrastructure as a code or keenness to learn it
- Experience in agile or DevOps-oriented environments
