Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations

Skills

• Proven experience working with people with disabilities, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care procedures across various specialties including ICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), surgical units (medical-surgical), and urgent care settings
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation
• Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and recognize abnormal findings promptly
