Application Engineering Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our innovative engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support manufacturing, construction, and systems engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in programming languages, CAD tools, and system design principles to contribute effectively to product development and process optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Applications Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team, supporting the company's top accounts

Promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and personal development. Mentor team members and support long-term career growth.

Responsible for CapEx and drive continues improvements of the labs and capabilities to be future ready.

Manages engineering labs, workflow assignments including prioritization and reporting to meet customer, internal and market needs and expectations.

Ensures compliance with all company requirements (safety, legal), and relevant industry/customer specifications.

Requirements:

Minimum bachelor's degree in science or engineering with 10 years of experience with adhesives and films/tapes materials used in consumer electronics devices.

Proven track record of guide, motivate, and develop a technical team. Minimum of 5 years of experience of leading at least team of 5+ engineers/scientist as a direct report.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing teams, clients, and stakeholders.

The capacity to use agile methodologies and adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions. The ability to lead the team and coordinate complex projects and assignment.

Familiarity with FEA, flow modeling CAD and lab automation technologies
