Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping/receiving. This role supports the flow of goods through the warehouse and ensures that shipments are accurate, timely, and handled safely. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, including domestic, international, and palletized shipments
- Receive and inspect inbound inventory; verify quantities and report discrepancies
- Put away inventory and perform transfers between locations
- Conduct routine inventory cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
- Strive for 100% error-free execution in all shipping and receiving functions
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse by organizing supplies, restocking, sweeping, and trash removal
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and pallet stackers
- Use basic computer applications for shipping, receiving, and inventory functions
- Communicate clearly and promptly with warehouse colleagues and other departments
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and email communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience using warehouse software systems (WMS, ERP)
- Knowledge of international shipping processes
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Frequent standing, lifting, reaching, and bending throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds when required
- Warehouse environment with exposure to standard equipment such as pallet jacks and stackers
- Compliance with all safety and cleanliness protocols
Additional Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
