Barback / Beverage Support (Brunch Restaurant)

Location: The Brunch District - Addison TX

The Brunch District is a bright, welcoming brunch restaurant focused on great food, great drinks, and exceptional service. We're looking for a fast, reliable, and friendly Barback / Beverage Support team member who can help keep our bar and coffee bar running smoothly during busy brunch hours.

Position Summary
The Barback supports both the bartending team and the coffee bar by stocking supplies, preparing ingredients, making basic drinks, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. This role also includes preparing espresso-based beverages and simple cocktails during peak service.

Responsibilities
Drink Preparation

• Make espresso drinks: lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, flavored lattes, cold foam, etc.
• Assist with basic cocktails: mimosas, simple mixed drinks.
• Follow all recipes and presentation standards.

Bar & Coffee Bar Support

• Stock juices, syrups, mixers, milk, garnishes, alcohol, and coffee supplies.
• Prepare daily fruit and brunch garnishes.
• Keep ice wells full and stations organized.
• Run drinks to tables when needed.
• Wash, polish, and restock glassware and mugs throughout the shift.

Cleanliness & Closing Tasks

• Clean espresso machines, steam wands, grinders, and bar tools.
• Wipe down stations and maintain a sanitary workspace.
• Restock for the next day's service.
• Properly remove trash, recycling, and cardboard.

Other related Duties

• Operate POS systems
• Must familiarize menu to assist with guests with any questions/suggestions.

Qualifications

• Experience with espresso machines preferred (or willing to train).
• Ability to make consistent drinks in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Able to lift 40+ lbs (ice bags, liquor cases, milk crates).
• Must be 18+ to handle alcohol in Texas.

• Weekend and holiday availability is required.
