Rate: 100–120 USD per hour

Location: Fully Remote (US-based only, EST hours required)

Overview

A rapidly growing AI automation company is searching for an experienced Implementation Delivery Engineer to support enterprise customers as they adopt and scale a next-generation data and workflow platform. This role sits at the intersection of deployment, integration, and customer enablement—ideal for someone who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys guiding clients through successful go-lives.

You'll work as part of a tight-knit Field Engineering organisation, partnering closely with engineering, product, and customer leadership to ensure smooth delivery across multiple enterprise implementations.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Platform Deployment & Environment Build-Out

• Stand up production-grade environments across major cloud providers.
• Configure identity tooling (SAML/OIDC/SCIM), network pathways (VPC, peering, VPN, PrivateLink), and secure connectivity patterns.
• Deploy repeatable infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and container-based patterns.

Systems Integration & Workflow Enablement

• Build and configure data pipelines, eventing frameworks, and API-driven connections using REST or GraphQL.
• Create automation workflows, troubleshoot integration gaps, and ensure clean error handling and resiliency.

Reliability, Monitoring & Operational Readiness

• Implement monitoring dashboards, SLOs, alerts, and instrumentation to ensure production-grade observability.
• Participate in cutovers, hypercare, incident triage, and post-incident analysis.

Customer Delivery Leadership

• Run technical sessions, UAT cycles, performance testing, and readiness reviews.
• Translate technical issues into clear action plans for both business and engineering teams.

Internal Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Feed real-world implementation insights back into engineering and product teams.
• Contribute to documentation, reference architectures, runbooks, and internal tooling.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 5+ years in field engineering, implementation, or technical delivery roles for SaaS, data, automation, or AI platforms.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) plus Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of API integrations, event streams, identity protocols, and secure configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with metrics/logging/tracing (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana).
• Proficiency with Python or TypeScript for automation and integration tasks.
• Experience with relational databases and event-driven architectures.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, especially during high-pressure delivery phases.
