Rastelli's is looking to hire an Corporate Audit Coordinator to join our growing team in Swedesboro, New Jersey.
Job Summary:
Maintain the document control structure that is in place at Rastelli Foods. Conduct monthly HACCP meetings, revise the HACCP plan as needed, perform annual HACCP reassessment. Update Sop's, SSOP's, Policies, Training Procedures, Checklists and all other forms of QA related documentation. Make needed updates documentation registers (RTK chemical inventory, approved vendor lists, equipment lists, etc.). Participate in preparation for annual FS/QA audits. Assist with product specification development / label approval process and technical applications as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for each batch to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Confirm COA's from all vendors supporting Grind Operations.
- Oversee Red Zone Application and drive KPI's.
- Document all production activities including batch records, quality checks, and waste logs provided by the Red Zone System.
- Ensure all CCP's are being met.
- Maintain and organize QA documentation in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is complete and accessible.
- Learn and understand the roles and duties of each Technician as assigned to each department
- Develop and investigate new methods of pathogen detection and intervention under the supervision of the FS / QA Director.
- Collaborate with QA and production teams to identify and resolve discrepancies or non-conformances.
- Process and investigate Consumer Complaints and communicate with Operations, Sales, Maintenance, and Director of FS / QA.
- Interact with USDA inspectors and support compliance efforts during inspections.
- Request COAs from vendors and inspect incoming products to verify they match labels and COAs.
- Manage and maintain the Neogen / Petrifilm Platform as well as 3M ATP System.
- Manage Direct Reports for Label Development and Regulatory Approvals as needed as well as Customer Web Portals for Document and Certificate requirements.
- Manage weekly Establishment Reports for Director of FS / QA.
- Manage and maintain the following programs:
- SQF
- NOP / Organic
- Halal
- Certified Humane
- USDA / EV Program for Exporting Beef
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred.
- 4–5 years of experience in food production, QA, or document control.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess the knowledge to perform Product Trace and Recall Processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing HACCP and/or SQF programs.
- Applicant should hold current HACCP Certification and show knowledge and applied knowledge of developing HACCP Systems.
- Applicant should be a Certified SQF Practitioner or have strong knowledge of QF Systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay Type: $65,000 - $69,000 annually
