Job Posting: Senior Community Manager

Experience The EMBREY Way by joining our dynamic Property Management team as a Senior Community Manager. 

As the Senior Community Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, resident relations, and financial performance of a residential or mixed-use property, ensuring a high-quality living experience while leading on-site staff and maintaining compliance with company standards and policies. 

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee daily operations of the community, including leasing, maintenance and resident services
  • Manage and mentor on-site team members, ensuring high performance and morale
  • Ensure compliance with all housing laws, regulations and company policies
  • Maintain high occupancy levels through proactive marketing and leasing efforts
  • Resolve resident complaints, service issues and disputes promptly and professionally
  • Monitor and manage community budgets, including rent collection and expense tracking
  • Coordinate property inspections, maintenance requests and capital improvements
  • Analyze property performance and prepare regular financial and operational reports
  • Build strong relationships with residents to promote satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with regional leadership on strategic planning and community development initiatives
  • Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate or a related field preferred)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in property or community management, with supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of fair housing laws, lease agreements and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
  • Excellent leadership, customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Financial acumen including budgeting, rent collection and expense control
  • Strong communication, organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience with marketing, leasing and resident retention strategies
  • Ability to handle emergencies and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with maintenance operations and vendor management
  • Certification such as CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) or CPM (Certified Property Manager) is a plus
  • Required Testing
