Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Arlington, VA for a Radiologic Technologist. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. Daily tasks include operating radiologic equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining accurate imaging records, and adhering to established protocols for radiation safety. The role entails close collaboration with medical staff and requires ensuring the proper maintenance of imaging equipment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and a valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and best practices
  • Familiarity with medicine and radiology terminology and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
  • Previous experience in orthopaedic imaging is highly desirable
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements
