What You Will Be Doing:

  • Providing speech therapy services to individuals on the Brain Injury Waiver.
  • Working across various settings—including clients' homes, community spaces (such as coffee shops, parks, stores), and our therapy centers.
  • Delivering speech and language therapy, swallowing therapy, and cognitive-communication interventions.
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of the indications and contraindications for various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
  • Collaborating closely with an incredible team of administrative staff and care providers.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Following daily scheduling protocols, communicating effectively with team members, and adjusting schedules as needed for flexibility.

Requirements

  • Active Kansas SLP license
  • Reliable vehicle for travel between service locations (vehicles provided for full-time, direct employees)
  • Valid driver's and car license
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Kansas City, Missouri, United States
